. Examples of action verbs are run, jump, walk, etc . A linking verb helps connect subjects or nouns in parts of sentences. Helping verbs help the main verb show what it means and shows. Action verbs are something you do like run, jump, and etc.

This is good because it will teach you all the different types of verbs and examples of each one. It will also teach you the tenses of the verbs and examples.

Anyway, this movie was a really helpful way to understand what verbs meant. It even talked about direct and indirect objects. This video also caught my attention because Brainpop used it in a way that I could understand easily. I think everybody finds Brainpop helpful.

It even gave you the tenses and the types of verbs. And I looked through a lot of pages. So I would highly reccommend this link. It may be a little short, but I think it would be worth your time.
